The view of the Rhône was absolutely breathtaking, the bed was so comfortable in the newly refurbished apartment. The shower was great and the WiFi worked perfectly. We loved being able to control the heating as it was very windy during our stay. Jean was incredibly friendly and welcoming.

I had the most amazing stay at a unique property in Vienne with unforgettable views. The owner, Jean, gave me such a warm welcome and provided valuable information about the area. The refurbished tower was beautifully decorated and offered fantastic facilities. The highlight was definitely the stunning view overlooking the Rhône, where I spent hours enjoying the scenery with a glass of wine. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the town center. I highly recommend this special place for a memorable stay in Vienne.

As avid cyclists, we stayed at La Batie in Vienne for 2 nights while cycling the Rhône. The owner gave us a warm welcome and the views overlooking the Rhône were stunning. We were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves in a unique self-catering tower, complete with a bedroom above a living room and a charming terrace. The modern amenities and daily breakfast, including homemade bread, were a delightful touch. The walk to town was easier than expected and we loved discovering Cote Rotie wine.
We do recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic time at La Batie in Vienne! Our stay was for a week and it was absolutely wonderful. The apartment was beautifully decorated, fully air-conditioned, and had a well-equipped kitchen. The bedroom had sliding doors to separate it from the living area, and the views from all the windows were stunning. We especially loved the small covered balcony and the larger wooden terrace with a jasmine-clad ironwork. The location was great too, with a private path leading to town in just 7 minutes. It was truly a magical experience.
Would recommend this hotel.

Our stay at this incredible apartment was mind-blowing! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and impressed by the superb decor and high-end amenities. The fully air-conditioned space had everything we could want, including a well-equipped kitchen for longer stays. The bedroom, with its sliding doors, provided privacy if needed. And the views from every window, even the bathroom, were truly jaw-dropping. We loved the small covered balcony leading to a larger terrace adorned with beautiful jasmine vines, where we enjoyed magical evenings overlooking the city. Despite its location near the top of a hill, there was a private path that led us into town in just 7 minutes. We felt safe parking in front of the gated entrance and appreciated the convenient bell or telephone system to have the gates opened. This unique and historic apartment was an absolute delight, and our host Jean was always available to provide helpful information about the local area. The sublime views from the apartment and seating area were simply stunning, and we happily spent hours soaking it all in with a nice bottle of wine. The town center was easily accessible on foot, taking just a 5/10 minute walk. The terrace overlooking the Rhone was truly fabulous, and the recent renovation of the apartment was evident in its modern and well-equipped state. We were pleasantly surprised by the investment made, and while there was no dishwasher, the apartment had all the necessary amenities. The access to the town through the lovely lit garden and private locked door added a charming touch to our stay. And the convenience of being close to everything was greatly appreciated. We absolutely loved our time here, and even though we only stayed for two nights, we would have happily extended our stay.

The location was just perfect, with a huge wooded park right next to the city center. We had so much fun exploring the many historical monuments and enjoying the famous market. And let me tell you, the Vienna Jazz Festival at the Antique Theater was off the charts! We danced the night away and had the time of our lives. Plus, the Gallo-Roman museum in Saint Romain was super cool, totally geeking out over ancient artifacts. This vacation was epic!
The only thing we wished for was more fun activities for young party-goers. Yeah, the historical stuff was interesting, but we teenagers love to let loose and have a wild time.

The location of La Batie is absolutely stunning, nestled in a 4000 square metre wooded park just a stone's throw away from the center of Vienne in Isère. We had the pleasure of exploring the city's many historical monuments, strolling through the famous market, and even attending the Vienna Jazz Festival at the enchanting Antique Theater. The kids were fascinated by all the fun tourist activities available, and we also took the time to visit the Gallo-Roman museum of Saint Romain en Gal. It was truly an enriching experience for the whole family.
For dads, it would be great to have a small playground for the children.

A terrace with stunning views, great personalized reception, and comfortable traditional lodge. Oh, and a barbecue for those "exciting" summer evenings.
Who needs space for bedside cabinets and lights? Definitely not me.
